The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA’s primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.

OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Training
Effective July 18, 2008, all workers on public works projects of $250,000 or higher must be certified as having completed a 10-hour U.S. Department of Labor OSHA-approved safety course.

In compliance with the new law, NYC Land Surveyors has had all of NYCLS field employees retain a 10 hour OSHA certificate and as a company continues to employ measures that ensure further safety awareness and compliance supporting our clients in reducing and eliminating costly and time-consuming safety hazards that occur at construction sites.
